Arlyn B. Corvin of South Connellsville left this morning for Langley Field, Virginia, where he has enlisted in the Mechanics division of the Army Air Corps.  He is the son of Mrs. Anna Corvin of West Gibson Avenue.

Sergeant Arlyn B. Corvin, located "somewhere in Australia," has written to his mother, Mrs. Anna Corvin of South Connellsville, that he is well, the weather ideal and the country beautiful.  Sergeant Corvin enlisted in 1939.  He is with a Fighter Squadron of the Air Force.  He has met several Connellsville boys since his arrival in Australia, he wrote.
