John J. Ruggieri, 42, of 207 Perry Street, died at 9:30 am Thursday in Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland.

He was born June 23, 1926, in Connellsville, a son of the late John and Angeline Ritz Ruggieri and had been a life long resident of Connellsville. He was a member of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Holy Name Society, Father John T. Burns.

Council, Knights of Columbus and Milton L. Bishop Post 301 American Legion

He served in the US Navy during WWII and was employed as a machinist by the Westinghouse Astro-Nuclear Laboratory at large.

He is survived by his widow, Mary Ann Small Ruggieri; two sons, John Robert and Paul; three daughters, Jean Anne, Julia and Mary Margaret, all at home; four brothers, Ernest and Peter of Connellsville, Nicholas of Philadelphia and Victor of Winter Park, Florida; five sisters, Mrs. William (Catherine) Baker of Bristol, Mrs. Ralph (Helen) Wallmark, Mrs. Dolores Kelly and Mrs. Francis (Bernardine) Fowler all of Hillcrest Heights, Maryland, and Mrs. Emedio (Barbara) Masclarelli of Connellsville.
